Frequently Asked Questions.

If this is your first time working on anything related to website design and development, you've probably already realized that there are a few requirements that need to be met before any work can begin and a few other points that I am regularly asked about.

I am always happy to meet with local clients to discuss a project in person, but I know this is not always possible. Especially if you live on the other side of the country.

I'll need to discuss a few things before we get started, but this can easily be done with a phone call or Skype chat at a time that suits you.

You will need a web hosting provider and a registered domain name. They are prerequisites for running a website and should be implemented as soon as the project moves from the design phase to the development phase. In essence, web hosting gives you an online space on the World Wide Web and the domain name (also known as a URL) is the path to that space.

The hosting package is one of the main factors for the speed of the website, so it is very important to choose wisely. I'll be happy to help with it and get it registered and set up properly.

* Web hosting and domain registration fees are paid directly to the chosen provider.

The truth is - It depends on the style of website you are looking for as it will require different types of functionality (informational, online store, portfolio, etc), it depends on what you need me for in terms of services (web design or web development or both).

An ideal way to get a quote is to send me an email or a message explaining what you have in mind and want to achieve with your project. In most cases, I can provide a very close figure right away.

Another question I get asked a lot. Again, this varies depending on your exact requirements. Some projects may take a few months while others a few weeks.

Once you have discussed your project, I will give you an idea of how long the project will take.

I work with individual clients, businesses, and design agencies.

If you're just looking for customizations and updates to an existing website, the ideal way to get a quote and timeline is to send me a "change list" you want to implement. In some cases you may need a little more information, but most of the time I can provide you with a quote and time frame right away.

I am proud to say that I have had long-standing relationships with my clients and am always available to assist them when needed with updates and additional developments. They are usually charged by the hour.

Of course. I always instruct clients on how to update their websites. In fact, I make this as easy as possible when developing your website.

I understand that not every business has the time to update their website, and for that reason, I offer a popular website maintenance service to reduce stress. Maintenance clients just tell me what needs updating and then leave it to me.
